NEWS and ACTIVITIES
The Rockaway Borough Historical Committee Dedication Cemerony for the historic bell from Washington School took place on Sunday, June 3rd 2018. Approximately 50 community members were in attendance for the event. This unique historic piece of Rockaway Borough history dates back to 1883 and will be on permanent display outside our museum located at 199 West Main Street. Our sincere thanks and recognition go out to the many community members who contributed their time, talent, and materials to make this project so successful.
Our Town Wide Yard Sale September 30, 2023 was a great success! Many thanks to all who participated..

All participants should be equipped to sell at 8:00am. (You may continue past the 3:00pm ending mark of the event, if you wish.)
All participants will be given a sign that you are part of this event, and will be required to place in a given spot on your property.
NOTE: The Rockaway Historical Committee is not responsible for any damage and/or injury on private property.
Our advertisements will be located on social media and on the electronic sign in front of Borough’s fire house on E. Main St.
If you live in a condo unit or an apartment complex it is your responsibility to obtain permission from the superintendent.
Payments for these applications will be taken as a donation of $10.00, Cash _____ or Check _____.
